Day 1: Oberammergau
Arrival at the Oberammergau area (Bad Kohlgrub) Dinner and accommodation.
 
Day 2: Oberammergau Passion Play
Today  you  attend  the  world-renowned  Passion Play performance, one   of the highlights of your trip. A rich lunch awaits you before you attend the performance. The play is set in two acts, begin- ning in mid-afternoon and completing in the late evening. A shuttle-service in Oberammergau and neighbouring places is available free of charge.
 
Day 3: Würzburg
After  breakfast  leave  Oberammergau  to drive along the "Romantic Road" to Würzburg via Din- kelsbühl,  Feuchtwangen and  Rothenburg  o.d.T. Wuerzburg, the northern terminus of the Roman- tic Road, is a surprisingly cosmopolitan Bavarian city filled with architectural and artistic treasures and exquisite Franconian wine which you will have the chance to taste this evening at a wine cellar in Wuerzburg.  Dinner  and accommodation  in  the Würzburg area.
 
Day 4: Wiesbaden / Mainz (Monastery of Eber- bach)
Today’s theme is the Rheingau. After breakfast you leave Würzburg towards Rheingau. First stop is Eltville, better known as the city of wine and roses. During a guided tour to the historical old town, you will visit the electoral castle, built in the
14th century, the church and manor-houses. After

lunch you continue to the cultural monument of
“Monastery Eberach”. Following the monks foot- steps, stroll through the historic premises of the monastery  and sample six different wines of the Rheingau.  Dinner  and  accommodation  in  the Rheingau area (Wiesbaden - Mainz).
 
Day 5: Rüdesheim – St. Goar - Cologne
After breakfast at your hotel , your first stop will be  the  pier  of  Rüdesheim.  From  here  you  will board your magical cruise on the Rhine. The Rhine is   one   of   Europe´s   main   waterways.   It   runs through Germany over a length of 850 km. During your cruise, the comfortable and elegant cruiseli- ners will ply the river that cuts the old continent in two, allowing you to observe different cultures and touch splendid towns and villages with a rich past.   After   disembarkation   continue   to   the Bonn/Cologne area for dinner and accommoda- tion at your hotel.
 
Day 6: Cologne - Aachen
After breakfast meet your local guide for a city tour in Cologne. The city is built on Roman foundations and so rich in history that whenever a plot is de- veloped, diggers bring up archaeological finds to the surface. Apart from Roman remains your guide will show you Romanesque churches, the famous gothic cathedral,  the  historic centre,  the  Rhine embankment and many more. In the afternoon depart for Aachen. Aachen’s historic old town in- vites its visitor to a leisurely stroll through narrow lanes and historical places with its almost 2000

year old history. Experience Aachen with it’s fa-
cets: a modern town with beautiful old houses, lots  of  old  and  new  wells  and  various  stories about the cathedral and the guildhall. The cathe- dral was the first German monument to be admit- ted to the UNESCO-World Heritage Site at 1978. Dinner and accommodation at your hotel.
 
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast depart for your homeward journey.
