Vienna, Prague and Budapest
Furthest east of the three capitals, Budapest is the starting point for this classical tour of the Imperial Habsburg trail. Spend four days exploring the Hungarian capital before joining the train for the 31/2 hour journey west to Vienna and a wealth of Imperial palaces and treasures in the Austrian capital. The final port of call is Prague, 5 hours by train from Vienna, richly deserving its cult status and a fitting conclusion to the tour.
