Public Transport in Vienna

All parts of Vienna are easily accessible by an excellent system of underground trains, trams and buses. Single journeys are expensive at about £1. Austria Travel can supply you with a 24 hour pass for £4 or 72 hour pass for £9. Simply validate the ticket in the machine provided when you first use the ticket. The 72 hour pass is also included in the Vienna Card which costs £12 and entitles you to reductions on museum entrance fees, guided walks of Vienna and special offers at selected shops, cafés and restaurants.
