The performances at Vienna’s State Opera House, most sung in their original language, are renowned throughout the world and prebooking is therefore advisable. There are generally three price categories, depending on the performance: most are category B, but selected performances are category A and ballet is usually category C. Premieres and special performances (marked P) may command a supplement over category A prices.
