Prague City Breaks
There is so much to see and do in Prague and it’s so unlike any other European capital that it’s no wonder so many visitors return to the city time after time. Unmissable attractions include the imposing Hradcany Castle, spectacular St Vitus Cathedral, Charles Bridge with its artists and street sellers, historic Wenceslas Square, the vast Old Town Square and the quaint if touristy Golden Lane. The Czech Republic joined the EU in May 2004 yet much of the city’s charm lies in its eastern European roots which account for its rich cultural heritage. Travel on the cheap, extensive underground and tram network or simply explore on foot – half the fun is discovering new sights. You’ll soon get your bearings and appreciate that Prague’s appeal lies in its unique ability to attract and charm people of all ages and interests. There are now direct flights from many airports across the UK so there’s no excuse not to visit this wonderful city. Most hotels have reduced prices and special offers in January to March and July and August.
