Our great city break destination in and around central and eastern Europe have plenty to engage visitors with world-class museums, vibrant nightlife, and stunning architecture.

Vienna, the capital of Austria is the hub of the countries unrivalled musical tradition and home to some of the most impressive architecture in central Europe.

Near the German border we have the tourist magnet of Salzburg which has something to appeal to everyone. The birthplace of Mozart, a city which boasts superb Baroque music and art will be celebrating Mozart’s 250 th birthday in 2006, look out for the Mirrabel gardens and the stunning Salzburg Castle.

Set at the heart of the Tyrol and some of Austria’s most spectacular scenery, Innsbruck is a charming city with the grace of a beautiful alpine town. Our charming hotels will start you off on not only exploring this insightful town but will make you want to sample the whole Tyrol region.

Further south and you will stumble upon Austria’s second largest city, Graz in Styria, which boasts a young vibrant university community. The green parks, red rooftops and the blue of the river Mur which runs elegantly through the city makes Graz a lively, attractive and vibrant place to linger.

Only a few hours from most London and regional airports through out the UK, Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic has the most stunning gothic era architecture in Eastern Europe, unspoilt by 2 world wars. With its stunning castle and bustling Charles bridge being 2 of countless sights, and a wide choice of nightlife, restaurants and bars - Prague is a place you will want to visit time and time again.

Going further south and only 40 minutes from Vienna you will find the other part of the old Czechoslovakia the Slovak Republic. With our city breaks to the capital Bratislava, you can experience this hidden jewel before everyone else flocks there! It has a charming and quaint town square, narrow bustling streets and alley ways which burrow around this small but exciting city...get there soon and when you arrive, throw away your watch.

Our other great city break destination is the capital of Hungary, Budapest! The largest city in Central Europe and by far the most varied in architecture and tradition. In the summer month this city really comes alive, boasting the long running Pepsi festival in August and some of the most comprehensive baths and swimming pools in any city, perfect for all the family. With the castle hill in the old town, City parks, trips along the Danube and the amazing Parliament building, Budapest is known as the Paris of Eastern Europe!
