In the year of its 150th anniversary, ARCOTEL Moser Verdino beams in its renewed glory after extensive renovation and re-design work.

Public areas and the traditional café sport a new look
After the restoration of the façade — true to the original in every detail — by the building owner Generali AG, the general remodelling and comprehensive renovation of the hotel’s interior was completed recently. The reception area, the lobby and the Café Moser have been re-designed. Light flooding from the Café into the public areas lends the hotel a modern, urbane atmosphere. Dark wood and the high rooms of the Art Nouveau building create a generous, elegant ambience.

Three seminar rooms located on the first floor ensure state-of-the-art meetings. However, not only the interior decoration of the rooms is new, also the equipment complies with latest technological standards.

Renovation of 71 guest rooms
After carefully adjusting the staircase and the corridors to the modern lifestyle without destroying their Art Nouveau look and feel, all the 71 guest rooms were renovated and re-decorated in the past few months. Furniture made of elegant wenge wood, comfortable chairs and armchairs in warm red tones as well as mattresses made by JOKA guarantee special relaxation and sound sleep. In addition to bathtub/shower, toilet, hairdryer, mini bar and telephone, all the rooms now have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and pay-TV programmes, DVD/CD player and high speed internet access. Thus, ARCOTEL Moser Verdino is in line with the high standard of ARCOTEL Hotels and fully meets the demands of today’s polyglot business travellers.

However, there are things that will never change in spite of all renovations: the charming hospitality of the staff and the personal atmosphere radiated by the historic hotel.

“Polyglot since 1858” is the motto of this Art Nouveau treasure in Carinthia’s capital and it fully lives up to this motto in all spheres after its complete renovation.
