To complement the Danube cycling tour and cruises, we have a walking holiday which covers part of the same route running from Passau just within the German border, to Linz, the capital of Upper Austria. Some of the tour is at river level through the winding Danube valley, while on other days, you climb through delightful wooded regions passing ancient ruins and medieval castles to enjoy spectacular views of the river.
